Southside Opportunity Fund thanks Opportunity Fund Skeet Classic sponsors

The Southside Opportunity Fund extends a warm thank you to everyone involved in making Saturday’s Opportunity Fund Skeet Classic a tremendous success. That includes the participants and the Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center in Appomattox, which hosted the inaugural event.

All proceeds from the skeet event will go toward Southside Opportunity Fund scholarships for graduating seniors at area high schools. In just two years, 30 $1,000 scholarships have been provided to students. The success of the Opportunity Fund Skeet Classic means continued support for area students heading to college or a trade/technical school.
