Severe storms are moving across our 18-county service territory, coming with lightning, damaging winds and heavy rain. These storms are causing downed trees and broken poles, with the most extensive damage being in Powhatan.
SEC crews are responding to outages, while prioritizing safety for all. Contract crews from Carolina Power and Signalization have been secured and will be assisting in restoration efforts.
