Vegetation Management Guidelines for Member Inquiries

When members call in with questions about vegetation management, use the following key points to provide clear and consistent information. These cover SEC's policies on brush cleanup, tree removal, and herbicide usage.

Brush: SEC contractors have three business days to clean up from the initial dropping.
Trees: SEC does not remove downed wood; SEC only cleans up brush in the maintained right-of-way.
