Clive C. Pettis Sr. represents District 2 members on the Southside Electric Cooperative Board of Directors.
Mr. Pettis, who lives in Nottoway County, has been a SEC member since 1996. He joined the Cooperative board in 2017.
“I was interested in serving on the SEC Board of Directors because serving in this capacity allows me to give back to the members and all of the wonderful people throughout District 2,” Mr. Pettis says.
Mr. Pettis has worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation Rotary and Mission Systems since 2015 as a systems analyst and then systems administrator. He also continues to be the systems administrator for the Crewe Medical Center, a position he has held since 2011. He previously worked for Nottoway County Public Schools as a systems administrator.
He earned a Bachelor of Science in office systems management from James Madison University in 1992 and a Master of Education from Virginia State University in 2008.
Mr. Pettis is a Credentialed Cooperative Director.
Since 2016, Mr. Pettis has served on the Nottoway County School Board.
He and wife Sherry, the data coordinator for Amelia County Public Schools, have one son, Clive Jr.
Mr. Pettis is an avid golfer.
